Turning your pet's memories into a storybook

By KidleoBooks · Published 16 October 2026

In our pet books you write two short traits or memories. They appear in the story, so they do most of the work of making the book feel like your pet. Here is how to choose them.

Think in small, specific moments

Specific beats general. "She steals socks and hides them under the sofa" says more than "she is playful".

Mix a habit and a story

A good pair is one everyday habit and one memory the family loves to retell.

  • Habit: "He waits by the door at exactly six o'clock."
  • Memory: "The day she climbed into the Christmas tree."

Write it the way you'd say it

Short, natural sentences read best when the story quotes them. Keep each one under about 140 characters.

Keep it private

Avoid addresses, phone numbers or anything that reveals where you live — the book may be shared later.
